About The Artwork
Tupac Shakur was a rapper betrayed by the people he considered his friends. I hope that the viewer sees a young man who lost his life by trusting the wrong people. He had a face filled with dignity, intelligence, and love. I chose graphite because it allows me a modicum of control and the contemporary style offers a measure of freedom.
