ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Burst drawings, digital realizations and prints are an exploration into the explosive pattern that is repeated throughout many living creatures, in nature that surrounds us on this planet as well as in the universe above us. We see it in flowers, fireworks, stars and the patterns within our eyes. I believe, as living beings on this earth, we are connected to the cosmos through these patterns, and they have influenced people to change the way they communicate, share information and develop technology. I want to highlight how attracted we are to these natural designs and by this association, the patterns help us re-acquaint ourselves with the totality of being.
