ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Another of my Rosetober pieces, this was meant to focus on candles and so I tried something I don't normally do, still life. I didn't use a reference as I often find them to be less helpful, but I feel it turned out very pretty even without. I really love the colors of the candles and how it fades lightly at the top, but I dislike how crooked it seems to be. This was done on 9x12 inch illustration paper using Ohuhu alcohol markers and Sakura Gelly Roll gel pens. I believe I also used a pastel purple Posca pen in the background
