These Chinese Ink drawings came about by choosing a limited number of weapons. A 50 x 70 Caballo 109A, 250gram paper, my mother's pancake turner, ink and a few earthy acrylics. I was reading a biography of Robert Motherwell at the time, so the black ink and the physical expression felt right.
