ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by a meme depicting two stills from the George Floyd arrest. The first still from the sequence showed him handcuffed with police officers, he had short hair. The second still, from another edit, showed an officers knee on his neck. In this still he is totally bald. In another meme Floyd is posing wearing a suit next to a corona beer advert. These images are repeated with an ink pen along with Greek images of a boar rearing and a big cat, maybe a lion, cut in two. Over the top of these oil pastel shows three horse heads with propaganda slogans from 2020.
