Being drawn to art and photography at an early age, in 1980 KJ Rich enrolled on a Foundation Course in Art and Design at Cardiff Art College. Following the successful completion of the Foundation Course, KJ Rich attended West Midlands College of Higher Education and graduated in 1984 with a BA Degree in Visual Communications. This enabled KJ Rich to follow his passion to work as an artist and Creative Graphic Designer, creating images both digitally and traditionally. KJ Rich creates creative reflections of the world around him, from nature, music and the ordinary, taking inspiration from many sources which include the power of Rothko, the passion of Van Gogh, the ever evolving Hockney, the structure of Mondrian and to the street art influence of Banksy.
