The act of undressing as an act of female intimacy. ---------------------------- Polet Andrade is a young female artist and poet. During her formative years she studied digital arts and literature, and now she uses this knowledge to explore the sensory world of the 21st century. Her work is about the present. She uses art and poetry as mean for exploration of the mundane through the use of glitches, negative spaces and thick charcoal lines in combination with the expression of the body and the face of the subjects she encounters. She resignifies the fact of being present, by expanding the emotions, fears, and the unsong stories of the characters in her drawings. And she finds joy on finding art and poetry in the most unusual and banal places.
