Edie - watercolour and pencil on paper. Original by Fiona Maclean. Created this drawing while staying in Belgium in the woods. The colours of the leaves in the woods nearby me inspired the colours of this drawing/watercolours. The artwork comes with a Certificate of authenticity and a handwritten thank you note. I am a New Zealand born Painter and Visual Artist currently based in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia. After studying Art, Design and Production in New Zealand & Australia I continued my studies in Fine Art and Painting at Parsons School of Art (The New School) in New York City. A family tragedy cut my studies short in New York where I had to move back to Australia. I was chosen as an Artist to watch and amongst a strong emerging talent of Artists in the 'One to Watch' series released by Saatchi. As a Fine Artist my paintings and artworks hang in private collections around the world and appear in International reference books and publications. I have exhibited in Australia, UK, the Netherlands and USA. "I am interested in layers, and what it is to be human, sensuality, sexuality and what it is to be female in the world."
