Robin Leavy is an Irish visual artist who specializes in figurative art, and portraiture. Genre/Subjects: Robins' work is the definition of intrinsic detail, drawing from life, the artist captures the emotions of what he observes in the purist way. The Artists Inspiration: From a young age the artist has found drawing to be be his escape from the chaos and turmoil he often times feels from being a highly emotional and sensitive person.Creating for Robin has always and always will be as fundamentally important to his existence as oxygen is to our survival. Media: From a young age Robin has the ability to create his detailed and intricate art works using a range of media but generally chooses to depict his subjects of choice using drawing media such as Pencil, Ballpoint Pen, Graphite, Inks and Charcoal. Although colour uplifts mood, he believes mastering one media takes 1000's upon 1000's of hours of practice and once achieved permits the artist to explore other media which he has started to do in the form of acrylic and watercolour painting.
