Adebesin Adedamola (b. 1976, Lagos, Nigeria) is a visual artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He works across oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor, blending literature and visual art to transform words and emotions into expressive imagery. He studied painting at Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Nigeria. His practice is deeply inspired by people and everyday street life in both urban and rural settings. Through figurative drawing and painting—using graphite, charcoal, and pastel—he explores human expression and captures moments of lived experience. His work often centers on street scenes and figurative compositions, with a strong focus on the human form as the primary subject of his ongoing exploration.
