About The Artwork

This work of art is a work that I have created in my own imagination. The beings (living and non-living things) that you have seen in this work are actually more than a sea creature, the hatred, anger, fear, savagery, primitiveness, joy, cruel, ignorance, modern, scientific, modern, beliefs and political thoughts of a human being that are part of human life. It describes the dark ages and the future. And all of them tell the history (past and future), existence, desire, joy and happiness of human beings. To deal with what appears in the work; "Eye of the Ocean" This creature, depicted as a shark, is actually the human being. The main body of the shark (displayed as a skeleton) explains the history (past-future) of the human being, its existence from the soil (bone-skeleton-muscle), its curiosity, how much is a primitive being The shark's mouth (eyes and human teeth) represents the excitement, greed, anger and hatred of human beings. The shark's fin (actually a predatory tooth) represents the ruthlessness and savagery of human beings. The Air inlet (of an F-16 jet) at the bottom of the shark represents the modern scientificity of mankind. The shark's lower tail (where the light blue curve is) represents human beliefs. The shark's tail (triangular shape at the tip) represents the political thoughts and ideas of human beings. "Jellyfish" (spider body) represents human ignorance. "Jellyfish tentacles" (hooks attached to fishing line) represent human learning and dogmatic thinking. "The shape with the triangle door attached to the hook", these structures represent the taboos, traumas, ignorance, heedlessness, fear and helplessness of human beings. The doors represent hope, the call and the solution. The "Dolphin Fish" (in the shape of an airplane propeller) represents the peace and happiness of mankind on earth. The materials I used in my work..; EU 68 cm(length) 48 cm(width) Paper USA 26.7 inch (length) 18.8 inch(width) Derwent Drawing "blue" (oil-pastel) pencil Derwent Colorsoft "white" pen Faber-Castell "white" pastel There is no frame in my work at the moment, but if the sale is made, the frame will be made immediately.
