This work was born by witnessing the life of the homeless in the city of Los Angeles as well as the fear they generate in society. I decided to title it Gulliver in L.A. as a contemporary allusion to the classic story, where the homeless person becomes a giant because of the magnitude of the social challenge to the failure of an economic system or a lifestyle. Gulliver is the representation of the broken American dream. It is the dark mirror to which we fear to appear. This first drawing was the character's genesis. The technique of realization is simple, I use silhouettes of different origins, I alter the proportions and combine them in an unusual way, changing the message to provoke thought.
