ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is much crummy news in the airwaves about us destroying our planet. Yet,when I look around I see beautiful environments and incredible vistas. The Earth is my hero/heroine. We do terrible things to her and still she provides life sustaining gifts. I used blue and gold; the colors of sun and water. I divided it approximately into 71% water, as this is the ratio of water to land mass on our planet. The geometric pattern is the orbit of the Earth, Venus and Mars in the solar system.

I went to Chagrin Falls High School, and The Cleveland Institute of Art. My favorite color is electric blue, I love chocolate covered espresso beans and I have two cats. Drawing is a part of my spiritual life, my exploration in materials, techniques, mysticism, and the Earth consume most of my hours. It gives me great joy to have the tools necessary to transform my visions into objects. Each object has a vibration. My job is to raise the vibration of the viewer through my art.
