Drawing: Marker on Paper.

This portrait in black and white was created using a photograph of Ida Lupino I found on Twitter when I was looking for inspiration.

However I didn't approach to the source in a literal way but looking for the essence of the image, the ideas and feelings that suggest me the portrait of the actress of film noir. And according to these impressions I did a drawing focused on showing classicism and sophistication in an spontaneous manner.

Again black marker is the best medium I find in order to get my purposes because it is very flexible and perfect to do a work where the drawing contour lines are a priority.

This black marker drawing is signed and dated on the front and is shipped rolled in an extra strong cardboard tube.

It is sold unframed but a black frame would fit perfectly with the white background.
