Imagine Print

This is a piece I hold very dear to my heart. It was influenced by a poem a little girl wrote for class explaining how she loved bedtime so she could sleep and dream about all the possibilities of the universe. I chose stippling as a metaphor for the particles that surround us everyday, most of which the human eye cannot see. But there is a magic when they come together as close as they can and create something special, they move, inspire thought and create bonds that influence our perception. Our neurons fire like shooting stars at night far beyond our control only to calm down allowing us to imagine what the next dawn will bring. No two eyes see alike they are the window to our world and soul; weather they're wide open or shut to sleep we are all constantly dreaming, seeing our own big picture. Especially when it comes to illustration, it is not about the ability to control your hands it is about what you see. Art is all around us, if we open our eyes and imagine the possibilities are endless.
