Life sketch of a nude female figure in charcoal and Conte white and burnt sienna pastels on bistre-coloured heavy paper. This is a very large drawing . The photo shows the full size of the paper of 84 centimetres high and just shy of 60 centimetres wide. The photo shows the working marks from this dynamic sketch, which are heaviest around the bottom centre by the strong black shadow. Some slight creasing from handling and slight paper discolouration may be visible in the photo. The drawing has been fixed but please note the surface of any charcoal drawing is delicate and this drawing should be mounted with a passe-partout behind glass to protect the surface and should not be exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
