ABOUT THE ARTWORK

- Fine art , acid free watercolor paper and age resistance , however it must be framed with glass. The drawings will be send UNFRAMED. I always use the highest quality materials . - Acrylics inkt with the highest lightfastness and an excellent UV resistance. Portraiture is timeless. I love the portraits of Rembrandt , Vermeer , Rubens . Some painters have a quality , that I can look and study for hours and they surprise me every time . Here are my inspirations ; Caspar Friedrich. , Nolde , Ensor , Renoir , Cezanne , Gaugin, Delvaux , Bonnard. , Rothko , Newman , Leroy. This painting or drawing is a part of a new series of portraits. I hope the viewer feels the light and the space in the paintings. This impact has nothing to do with technique but with a certain quality. The viewer has to see and feel. Words are not made to explain my art, because when I can understand my work, it is just another image and art can not be explained with language. THIS ARTWORK IS NOT FRAMED The painting is signed and there is a recommendation inside how to frame it. My drawing will be very well protected in a cardboard box . Keywords : - Acrylic on paper - acrylic ink on paper. -

After the figurative work, i am working in a free space. Nothing remains the same. Every painting is a new painting above another. I am interested in the abstract energie between colors and color tones. I react on colors to let something happen, that i can't understand. But the paintings are unintentional and are born by chance. The colors have to sing and have to fill the space like an orchestra. It is not a lineair process but a zigzag between spaces and tones, looking for the line who gives the space her fullness. Space and light are my tools. The painting is subject and at the same time a study to renewal. I have to see something I don’t understand. Seeing is the most important. It must be a feeling or an emotion. It’s always a surprise. In 2017 the artist become ill and has Parsonage -Turner. He still can not move his righter arm in all positions. In 2018 ,on his birthday , he decided to overpaint or destroy all his paintings to give them more space and so the new paintings have a number higher than 19,,,,, starting from 2019
