Kaziuk Print

This is Kaziuk. Or rather, his frustration. Frustration that those clots still believe that if they cut grain with a scythe instead of a sickle, they will be punished by God. This artwork was inspired by a great novel by polish writer Redliński - "Konopielka". I highly recommend this bittersweet novel. It's showing how strong is the will to be accepted by the crowd even for the price of thinking individually. This work I did creating layers by using different manual and digital techniques. Details of this technique: I manipulate with the image with various ways. I use ink, pastel, pencil, different paints. Sometimes I destroy some parts. Then I scan the result, I can add some computer manipulations, I print it and I add next layer of manual work. I repeat it until I am satisfied with the result. This artwork I made under the scholarship program of the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
