Chev was born in the UK and studied at Goldsmiths University for a Textiles and Fine art combined degree course in the 1980's. She is currently based in East London, UK. Her work explores universal themes: mortality, dreams, exploring relationships and how we connect to others. She draws both from memory and observation using art to keep her safe and to make sense of the world around her. She has completed commissions for private and public clients and also exhibited artworks in group exhibitions.
