ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting won 2nd place in the "Portraits of Unknown" category at the American Art Awards 2021, is in the list of winners with a recommended price from respected US galleries For the work I used high-quality pastel paper and soft pastels, pastel and charcoal pencils. These are my favorite techniques and materials, as they can achieve truly unique results. Especially in realism. The plot of the picture came to me after watching the film Tango Lesson, which shows the true love of dance of a professional dancer and a woman - the author of the scripts for films and the director. The incredible atmosphere of the film gave me emotion for this picture. Awesome camera work helped to create my picture. I really love beautiful art, dance, music, and, as it seems to me, I was able to transfer to paper the magic of the moment, dance and love of a man and a woman.

Hey! My name is Viktoria Gaman, I am a Russian artist, I was born in 1981 in Samara, studied in Moscow, now I live and work in Turkey. I paint and write using different techniques and different materials, such as dry pastel, watercolor, oil, ink and ink, markers. But my favorite material is soft pastels. I can express a lot in pastels and oils, and the main thing is to preserve the brightness of the color and create a realistic image. I am inspired by nature, animals and birds, as well as travel. I want to do what I love sincerely and honestly. Show people the world as I see it. I want beauty and kindness to triumph around. This is not yet possible, but we must strive for this. Strive to overcome human vices. And to keep the planet the way God created it - beautiful, full of variety of animals. And it is in the paintings that I show the beauty of animals, their feelings, the beauty of nature, the beauty of man and his emotions. The world is full of imperfections and dirt. You should not produce it in creativity. My personal opinion.
