ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This Lucrezia illustration is inspired by the divine feminine and romantic art of Italy. Lucrezia Borgia was the daughter of the controversial pope Alexander VI during renaissance. She is known to be a strong political figure in Rome and protector of the Arts and Letters. The surrealist illustration features Italian flowers and animal symbols. I use a «dot and fine line» technique with blue gel pen on fine art paper creating a detailed and elegant blue monochrome. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to think differently, to see nature as powerful and majestic, yet delicate and precious.

I grew up in the French Alps and spent my childhood building tree houses and drawing, so it is no surprise that I studied art and architecture. I started traveling the world, immersing myself in diverse cultures and breathtaking landscapes. After working as an architect for 5 years, I decided to enrol with an environmental organization and spent over a year at sea and kept travelling. Additionally, I discovered the transformative power of yoga and now enjoy sharing my knowledge as a yoga teacher. Through my art, I strive to capture the breathtaking beauty, abundance, and fragility of nature. By embracing the «dot and fine line» technique, I bring forth intricate details that evoke a sense of wonder and reverence. After living in Melbourne and India, I have finally returned to European soil, where I specialize in illustration for socially and environmentally conscious businesses and NGOs. In addition, I have found immense joy in illustrating tarot and oracle decks, infusing them with the magic and wisdom of the natural world. Through my drawings and commissioned work, I am able to continue volunteering for the environment and animals, staying true to my mission of making a positive impact. So, join me on this extraordinary journey as we explore the wonders of our world and inspire change through art. Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future!
