ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Serie Icons Mafalda is much more than a newspaper drawing. It is a symbol that in Argentina is taken as something similar to the "conscience of an entire country". It is the creation of the cartoonist Quino and this is my version of it, not so similar to the original, but as you can see in the Argentine flag, instead of a giant sun, it has a cloud with rain. Representing how we really live, we have a beautiful country, but we live badly. Like a rainy day that never ends. See the additional photos, thank you.
