Between 2011 and 2015, a series of 4 graphic works was created. These pictures were created when everything in my head became a living theater, in which there is an endless performance, where there is no end. These masks are about ourselves, about joy and sorrow, about exultation and grief, about betrayal and loyalty, about life in General. Each mask is a bright living feeling, a strong emotion that is difficult to keep inside, it is like a current that has a negative charge, penetrates the thickness of every cell of the body in search of protection, but the next moment this feeling is like a bullet that tears the eyes, lips, skin. And now your face has changed, you are real. The human soul is beautiful.

Between heart and mind. Every time I touch my palette, I remind myself of who I would be if in the profound past I hadn't opened my heart to the world of art. Next step is that I am starting to love myself through my work, where again falling and rising in the same time healing my soul due to a common spirit. My name is Olesea and I am an artist. I was born and grew up in a very picturesque and beautiful place in the south-east of Moldova. My artistic path began in a higher art college and continued in the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, after graduating from the Academy, I received a master's degree in “Scenography of theater and cinema”, after which, my creative epic was further enriched. After years of realistic painting, I gradually moved towards a more contemporary style. At some point I found that it was simply a matter of allowing myself to give up my previous ways of seeing and interpreting. “Permission” may not be the best term, nevertheless, it is what allowed me to struggle, fall and rise up. It is the act that inspires me to further research of my main topic. Since then, I have not stopped experimenting with painting and graphics, exploring a variety of styles, techniques and directions to carve out my unique niche in the world of art, continuing to promote myself and my work day by day with integrity, commitment and fearlessness, delving deeply into my own existential world. In my works, I allegorize human nature, existence and experience of the present time. It is a kind of meaningful story told in the form of symbolic figures and the interactions between them. To gain even greater results, I immerse my idea in the necessary shell, that is to say I give it the shape and line that will most deeply reflect the essence of the thought. For shaping I use a thick impasto combined with a thin glaze applied to the ground with a mastichin and a brush, at the same time focusing on the details of the image giving full attention to the color spot and light, while the background dissolves into a wonderful peaceful open space. Often separating the figures from the background creates a harmonious composition - without the need for too many realistic structures for support. Overall, it inspires the viewer to think about how elements can be combined to affect the perception of the painting as a whole.
