In this painting I explore through the portrait of an indigenous woman, the importance of experience. Since, in Mexico, on many indigenous towns, women are still the main source of knowledge and memory shared from generations to generations. Just like a sage, they are strong, charismatic and still full of love and temper. Artwok and artprints come neatly packed in a box and a tube , respectively. Both come along with a personalized letter and wraped in handmade paper.

I am a mexican artist and poet. My art focuses on women, childhood and the negative spaces bodies portray as moving art. I use watercolor in conjunction with bold-charcoal curves because this pitch black medium represents an ever-present circle that compliments color; just as light compliments dark. The same way, my style is a contrasting medium between opposties: joy and sorrow, nostalgia and wonder or Static and movement.
