This artwork was inspired by a real spiders web in my courtyard after the rain. It made me think of the busy work spiders do and how sometimes we underestimate the natural art they bring. The symmetrical shapes of circles really made this piece fun to do.

I’ve grown up appreciating all forms of art. The early years performing on stage in dance and later creating choreographic work for others. I’ve studied at Macquarie University as a primary teacher and later went back to complete a post grad certificate in TESOL. I still work as an English teacher of all ages and now have started my own business ‘Sydney InSIghts’ of my own photography and these transformed by me into watercolours and A3 mixed medium art professionally framed and ready to hang. This all came about from life’s experience and delving into creating my own art based on my photographs when dealing with the first lockdown in 2020.This was a way to find peace and calm. From something so life-changing and energy zapping, to a renewed vigour and this door of opportunity opened. which I love exploring as a new jOURney and allow others to join me, one day at a time!
