Okty Budiati is a multi-disciplinary performer from Jakarta, Indonesia who departed from the art of dance since she was four years old at Cicilia Ballet Jakarta. She explored the body through psychosomatic moved into creative writing, poem, and drawing. In 2006, she was involved in several productions as actress, dancer, choreographer. Her performance art based from her exploration start in choreographic as psychosomatic project titled "Fragile and The Last Steps" which can only be staged in Japan Foundation Jakarta in 2007. In 2010, her focus was on training in body techniques and writing also drawing about the complexities in the body's philosophy. In 2012 made Kebun Ilalang, a creative space for children in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta. In 2014, she became contributors to the article on Our Voice Sites (LBGT) and . Some works of her poetry have been printed in the pocket book, postcard series containing Haiku within hand drawing on digital, and digital imaging poetry in motion. "Dead of The Body", memoir of a dancer on progress since 2016.
