I was born in Iran in 1977 and I studied Art at the University of Tabriz and Tehran. During my studies I cultivated drawing and painting, participating in various collective exhibitions. I moved to Italy in 2004 and graduated in Architecture, but I constantly continued to paint and to exhibit my works. I paint above all from life, the objects and still-lifes that spontaneously arrange themselves next to me in my daily life. Often they are plants, flowers and fruits that strike me for the vitality of their shapes and colors, so that I go back to drawing them again and again without ever getting tired. Where I live, in the countryside near Rome, it is very green and there is no lack of plants and trees that are always fascinating and different in each season of the year. Other times I am struck by the common objects that are inside the house, things that normally I would not pay attention to, but that sometimes with a certain light become irresistible subjects, that have to be portrayed. I like to observe my subjects for a long time, to understand the essential visual aspects to report on the sheet. This simplification process requires a lot of concentration but allows the subject to be interpreted in a personal way. Once I understand the subject, I always try to translate it on the sheet by painting quickly and without second thoughts, so that the emotions it brought me remain visible and the painting gains visual force and freshness. I like to draw on paper because it gives me the possibility of using both watercolors, ink and gouache and I use a paper with a thin grain that returns more intense colors. My sold works are carefully packed. I put them between two sheets of paper and close them in a plastic envelope with layers of cardboard on both sides. The package is also protected with bubble packaging inside. All my artworks are original unique paintings, signed.
