ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an ink drawing with a central focus of a cactus wren. Surrounding the wren are other animals which might be found in the same habitat. The drawing has been done in ink on hotpressed watercolour paper, and on the original, the central cactus has been accented with 24 kt. gold leaf.

She has been illustrating children's books since 2012 and has illustrated +/- 50 books. In 2014, she received the Kuykendall Image Award for Excellence in Illustration for her work in Nancy Scalabroni's book, "Couga Monga Minga Man."
