Polina Kharlamova is a full-time professional artist and illustrator. She graduated from the Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design with honors and then continued her path as an independent artist. Now Polina lives and works in Helsinki, Finland, her artworks can be found in private collections in the USA, the UK and across Europe. «The most important thing for me as an artist is to create a mood for the viewer, to help him capture the moment. Create an environment, a reason for thought with a picture. The plots of my work were found in exceptional circumstances rather than in everyday life. It is idleness, music and flowers. Femininity and fragility intertwine with the dark, mysterious noir motives. The theme of the search for harmony is always present in my works, I try to emphasize this with a restrained, deep color scheme.»
