ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I made this drawing in 2020 to try to keep my mind off of troubled times that I was going through. I was recently taken from my home and from my family, due to situations at hand and during covid, and so I made these works to keep my head up. Colourful, and about my kids and about the Italian idea of pilgrimage, that the call being a 'pellegrinati.' Many people during wartime are forced to move, and become separated from their families, but if we remain hopeful, we can see this as an opportunity to travel, to see old friends, and to see how people are doing in other parts of the world too.
