Hi there! My name’s, John Dingle. I’m a portrait and figurative artist. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, I was raised in rural parts of Summerton. I remember helping my grandfather feed his hogs and chickens, grandma telling me to take out the slop bucket, tending to my father hounds. Above all, I couldn’t do anything until I finished my homework or as grandma would put it, “get your lesson.” Graduating from Scott’s Branch High School with honors, I furthered my education at the University of South Carolina. There, I’ve been fortunate to receive my A.A. degree. Since then I’ve been apart of Sumter County Gallery of Art or Sumter Artist Guild. Thank you for visiting my page.
