ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A collection of photos from the 1940s of my aunt and uncle inspired me to want to do portrait art from some of them. This was a favorite, and I gifted the original of this art piece to my aunt (the little girl in the photo). I hope the viewer will pick up on the sense of nostalgia, the portrait aspect, the old-fashioned air of life in the country.
