Emil Fais (born 1997) is an Indonesian contemporary artist known for his bold approach to pressing issues, particularly those concerning the environment and pollution. Since beginning his art practice in 2015, Fais has focused not only on aesthetics but also on the work's function as a medium for social criticism and reflection. ​Fais honed his artistic skills and framework during his undergraduate studies at Surabaya State University.
