Hello, I’m Burcu Yıldız. I was born in 1983 in Izmir, Turkey. My journey with art began at the age of 2 when my family recognized my interest in painting and supported me in pursuing my passion. I started painting, taking piano lessons, and learning dance. Throughout my childhood, I continued my artistic development in the studios of renowned painters in my city. During this time, I received an international award in the children’s category and participated in several group exhibitions. When it was time to choose a university, I wanted to broaden my perspective and chose a design-focused program at the Faculty of Fine Arts, which I successfully completed. Studying design expanded my vision, helped me develop a multidisciplinary approach, and deepened my understanding of the importance of branding. In addition to presenting my drawings on fabrics and opening a personal exhibition, I had the honor of representing my country in an international exhibition featuring 30 selected artists. Currently, I continue to participate in art fairs and exhibitions around the world.
