Miroslava Romanova
United States
New York-based Miroslava Romanova was born in the Ukraine and earned an MA from the Saint Petersburg Academy of Art, Russia in 2015. Romanova’s practice is a collaboration between imagination and memory. Interests in medical textbooks and anatomy, coupled with her affinity for the punk and Goth music scenes have influenced her creative work. Previously, Romanova worked as an art director, designing the facades and lobby interiors of residential buildings and business centers in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2016, she held her first solo show at Nouriel Roubini’s New York loft.
