ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

This is a drawing done around 2008. The drawing is pen on illustration board. The image was slightly edited with a white border and a panda for a signature. The "shiny copper penny" is an excerpt from a larger drawing. It's a still life of the heads side of a penny, or an interpretation of one....

Introduction to My Art Sean Gittens, 29/8/2004 Who I Am I am an artist who lives and works in Queens, New York. I have been interested in art since childhood and have always enjoyed expressing myself through painting, drawing, and collage. Art should be fun and aesthetically pleasing, which I try to achieve with my artwork. What I Do My art style is colorful, vibrant, and playful. I like to use bright and contrasting colors that make my artwork pop and catch the eye. I also want to experiment with different painting mediums, such as acrylic, watercolor, oil, and spray paint. I often mix and layer these mediums to create exciting textures and effects. I also like to add other elements to my artwork, such as glitter, sequins, beads, and stickers. These elements add sparkle and dimension to my artwork, making it more fun and interactive. Why I Do It I prefer to create abstract, geometric artworks rather than realistic or symbolic ones. Abstract and geometric shapes allow me to express my emotions and feelings more freely and creatively. I also like using simple, familiar shapes like circles, squares, triangles, and stars. These shapes are easy to recognize and relate to, creating a sense of harmony and balance in my artwork. I also like to use symbols and motifs that are meaningful to me, such as flowers, hearts, stars, and rainbows. These symbols represent my values and passions: love, joy, hope, and peace. What I Hope My art style and preferences reflect my personality and vision as an artist. I like to make fun and aesthetically pleasing art, using colors and shapes to convey my emotions and messages. My artwork can inspire and delight others and bring color and happiness.
