Hogarth and Norman Rockwell and of course Eric Fischel inspire me. I want the viewer to relish in the duplicitous irony of our times. I want the viewer to be intrigued by the sexuality but the flourish and the seeming relaxed manner I depict in my drawings. I choose marker pens because I work in a small space and the facile ambiance of the marker pens satisfy my vision.

I was represented by Newspace gallery in the 1980's. My first show was a take on Forest Lawn called "In The Garden Of Seeing Things." It was reviewed by the LA Times. My next show was "The History of Art in 3-D" in which the viewers saw the works through red and blue lensed glasses. Three of those paintings were sold to the Eli Broad Corporate Collection. One of those works hangs in his offices in Paris. The next series was called "Issues With No Answers" which focused on current events. UCSan Diego had an exhibition of both series. There was a catalogue published entitled "Double Feature" which is available on my Amazon page.
