Inspired by the urban landscape, Adam Ambro's work looks to find beauty in less than obvious places. Beginning with a recycled canvas of newspaper, layers of pen, marker and whatever else happens to be within arm's reach are added. The end result is a highly textured, imperfect interpretation of the man-made environment. Based in Golden, Colorado, Adam is a full-time architect and part-time artist. He was named a 2013 Cherry Creek Arts Festival Emerging Artist and honored in the 2D category at the 2015 Golden Fine Arts Festival. Professionally, Adam was recognized as the 2013 AIA Denver Young Architect of the Year and a 2014 Engineering News Record Mountain States top 20 under 40 professional.
