Inspired by Biblical marriage themes, this piece represents two soulmates and the creator God, with a symbolic rendering of the triangle of marriage. Predicated on the understanding that soulmates are sustained through the fabric of love and that there exists a vital need for a greater connection to their creator, lest in the absence of relationship to the divinity of life, and in the pursuit of each to the other alone, they will not find complete union and will be separated by the limits of their humanity. Exemplifying the idea of two differently opposed yet complementary sentient, conscious personal beings in a living flow of communion which transcends into, and thrives within the framework of the design of God’s invisible quality of love. Illustrating the profound significance of the necessity for marriage as the foundational institution for the context upon which society is edified and kept whole, that as part of the human experience, is a reality of life given by the creator, speaks to the sacredness of marriage.
