Hello, I am a self-taught artist. I am fascinated by studying color, shape, line, and strength of contrast and observing their symbiosis and how they interact with our perception. I like to interact with simple visual tools in my works - color, shape, line, contrast, and how their combination captures and excites the eye or, on the contrary, calms it. I love nature, I love being surrounded by nature. I look for my inspiration in nature, how to combine colors, how they exist in their natural forms of a leaf or a flower, and how the human eye wanders looking at the form, then the color, then the flower itself as a whole. I am interested in feeling myself in my work - moments of a combination of research and my intuition, that symbiosis when, on the one hand, color is a conscious decision, and on the other, when I allow the picture to behave as if I feel the current. I enjoy playing with colors, shapes, and lines, I'm interested in finding combinations of them that you want to look at and that don't burden the viewer. Therefore, I prefer the image of flowers - they are interesting, playful, and have a complex shape and a complex color, but our consciousness often perceives them in a super simplified way, something clumsy and yellow, for example. Unfortunately, my country's present is filled with grief and stress, my drawing helps me to focus and embrace myself in the moment, to find the basis of something pure, interesting, and light for the mind and soul. I want to present to you, my viewer, a series of works where I, in familiar and simple forms at first glance, was fascinated by the complexity of their form and multifaceted color. I prefer the classic conservatism of techniques combined with today's choices that today's time gives. At this point, I am fascinated by colored pencils and oil pastels, very similar in chemical composition but different in image technique. I like the presentation of their techniques - a strict sequence and the ability to play with colors according to one's feelings. I hope that you will like my artwork and that you will join me in exploring simple colors and how they play in complex flower shapes that at first glance seem simple and obvious.
