Liz Y Ahmet is a self taught expressive artist who has worked in a variety of mediums. Her preferred subject matter is the female portrait and her technique is to experiment with alternative styles to make her portrayals more dynamic. Her talent for drawing was noted at age 6 by family and teachers but being an artist was not encouraged as a career path in her family - though she was published in a glossy magazine after winning a junior art competition aged 9. She has exhibited in several group exhibitions and sold her work internationally.
