Dan Tomberlin is an artist that draws. He creates original art on paper with graphite, colored pencils, aqua media, watercolor & acrylic. But he considers all his work DRAWING; his artwork is in numerous private collections and has been shown in close to 60 art show and museum exhibitions, and he has received numerous awards. "My artwork is primarily figurative and narrative, and I explore concepts from everyday life, to fiction & fantasy. I like to explore spatial and color techniques. I have a series of images from my travels; color studies of exotic foods from my travels; drawings based on music and musicians; series of fish & water. And portrait work. I explore color and three dimensional space through imaginative fantasy images, and by manipulating the surface and texture of my drawing media."
