Namman Shroff has a diploma in Fine Arts and is an Architect by profession. He has a childlike curiosity and granular approach towards creation. In his current explorations, he juxtaposes flat medium work with lightweight cantilevered lattices of wood and bamboo sculpture - combining his dual training in fine art and architecture. He considers everything an experiment and tries to gauge how the viewer responds to his work. This kind of 'user experience' is very important for him. Many artists just express what they feel and do not really care how people receive their work. Naman deeply cares about this and wants to understand the minutiae of reactions that his work evokes, and then to make this understanding a primary tool to feed his vision for creating.
