About The Artwork

This mixed media art was inspired by the intricate and complex relationship of different spaces with people in a hospital. I think, in this post pandemic world, we must realize the significance of various functions of any hospital. Not only Architects take the pain to plan and design a hospital for its efficient use, but also the management team, doctors and staffs contribute equally. This interlacing of various people and spaces, shapes a hospital or any medical facility. This mixed media work is done using pen and ink technique and digitally. It is available as a framed and ready-to-be-hung work along with prints. Hope you like it.

Naman Shroff has a diploma in Fine Arts and is an Architect by profession. He has a childlike curiosity and granular approach towards creation. In his current explorations, he juxtaposes flat medium work with lightweight cantilevered lattices of wood and bamboo sculpture - combining his dual training in fine art and architecture. He considers everything an experiment and tries to gauge how the viewer responds to his work. This kind of 'user experience' is very important for him. Many artists just express what they feel and do not really care how people receive their work. Naman deeply cares about this and wants to understand the minutiae of reactions that his work evokes, and then to make this understanding a primary tool to feed his vision for creating.
