ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This charcoal drawing is one of my most proud artistic accomplishments. It took over 50 hours and was the first charcoal drawing to really challenge me mentally and technically. This drawing taught me that, sometimes, the more challenging the creation process is, the more rewarding the end result will be. I'm constantly compelled to draw endangered and threatened species and therefore there is no better candidate in such a category than the rhino.
