Twin Print

Sometimes, you feel that what's noteworthy is outside of the body. In this drawing session with two models and friends, I focused on the space in between her bodies. And I have figured out a shape looking like a heart. Like a symbol of their good relationship. It is an original drawingmade with Chinese ink and acrylic ink on watercolor smooth paper. I worked spontaneously with pen, black calligraphy ink and Sennelier inks on aquarelle paper to keep the transparency. You may ask me why does my latest artworks focus on the body ? I started by drawing human bodies as a challenging training about ten years ago. But after several years of practice, I realized that each body is like an endless exotic world to explore. No human shape can totally seal nor unveil what is inside. When I cannot travel to discover other countries, I am „mapping“ bodies in my atelier. My work with the living model is a permanent challenge to capture more than just a face and shape. Some recommendations: •You can print this image on fine art paper or on canvas. •The canvas prints are museum grade Giclée reproductions, matte textured (20,5 mil), bright white, poly-cotton blend with no additives and no agents. •Fine Art Paper is European-made. It has a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface, similar to traditional watercolor or etching paper. About colors : I calibrate the color of the artwork to fit with the screen colors (RVB). I make my shooting with cameras raw (HD) and low ASA to get high-resolution images. But of course, it is almost impossible to get the same result on different screens. Maybe your screen is not calibrated the same way. Nevertheless, I do my best to avoid disappointment. This image has a various red-orange shades, maybe difficult to show on some screens. About My Art Description English is not my mother language .
