I am a trained Otolaryngologist and a resident plastic Surgeon. I discovered my passion for art when I was a resident in Otolaryngology in the prestigious AIIMS hospital in New Delhi. I started with surgical illustrations then moved onto figurative art. I tried drawing the female form mostly from pictures available on the internet. Erotic expressionism could not, however, hold my attention for long. there was a constant inner feeling of a vacuum. the heart was seeking something that's beauty in the truest sense of the term. In my words, beauty is something that is not perishable, and immune to decay. That beauty won't be found in the curves of a woman. Beauty is the truth? Yes, most beautiful things in my perception are eternal truths hidden between the lines in the preachings of Aristotle or Hegel. Being an Indian, I believe strongly in Indian Philosophy. I am trying to study Indian and Western philosophy and my art is a humble effort to transmute Philosophical ideas into art-form.
