In 1999 I witnessed a young couple in a car crash at 130 mph under a bridge embankment at 2:30 AM in Dallas, Texas. My girlfriend and I at the time pulled over and ran to what was left of the car in the center of the highway. The driver was deceased, and a 17-year old girl was in sever trauma and in the process of passing. I laid myself over what was left of the car and talked to her while her body to begin shutting down. Unfortunately, she passed before the ambulance arrived. This was the 2nd of the times of my life that I have been the last words of someone who died. The title of this work is Victoria Nexus, as unfortunately, this is the only path we intersected this side of eternity. The day after the accident, I saw on the news her name was Victoria, I meant to call her parents to tell them I was the last person with her. I was too scared, and I never did. This work of art is what appears to be the angel of death taking Victoria to a peaceful place. Death is ugly, (hence the skull head of the angel), but he has a halo as she was a sweet innocent young lady. Thanks for reading.
