After working mostly in children’s edition I’ve been dedicating myself for several years to keeping alive the work of my late father, Guillermo Mordillo, in collaboration with Rubinstein, his editor and agent based in Amsterdam. Today I’m thriving drawing portraits, an art form that’s particularly dear to me. I relish this intimate exercise and the ever fascinating revelation of a look, of a face, as my pen slowly works its way along hills, mountains and valleys, adding touches of light and shadows until I reach the perfect balance.
