A field of green barley Print

In October 2015, the 50th anniversary concert "A field of green barley" was held at Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul to commemorate Yoon Yong-ha (1922-1965), the composer of "A field of green barley," and more than 800 barley expressing Yoon Yong-ha's signature song "A field of green barley" were displayed on the heads of Myeongdong Cathedral and Cathedral. Myeongdong Cathedral was the place where the funeral mass of Yoon Yong-ha, a devout Catholic, was held, and his clean and frugal personality was compared to a barley field. It expressed simple and brilliant light in the dark in the sense of aspiration for Korea's independence, and the sound of paper swaying in the wind is similar to the sound of barley. When planning a work, I like to express the five senses in my work.
