CHILDHOOD In this frenetic world in which we live, where it seems that going faster and faster and being more and more productive is the norm and the sign of evolution, it seems that we have stopped valuing the art of the contemplative and the spaces for reflection. Stopping and reflecting, thinking, remembering, admiring or simply being, are considered almost wastes of time. I myself consider myself a victim of this evolution, since I have had to work on myself, many times through my work, the fact of assuming that being standing, resting or enjoying a landscape or the views of a bench in the street They are not a waste of time, but a very important, necessary and rewarding part of life. It's funny how we are accepting the acceleration of the rhythm of our lives, which increasingly seem like a race where things happen so fast that we hardly even live them, since the reflection that is achieved when stopping is disappearing. Even art seems to have to have the deepest of reflections, when it must also be an ode to the contemplative. And from that claim of the contemplative, “Infancia” is born. Actually in childhood is when we feel more alive and absorb more from our surroundings since we are more focused on the present than at any other stage of our life. Stopping, observing, enjoying, discovering… these are very easy things in childhood and it seems that as we get older it costs more to achieve and it is precisely these things that the piece “childhood” invites. To observe and discover to remember, to remember to reflect and be aware of who we were and who we are, to rediscover certain feelings and sensations through memory and the contemplative, not to seek the use or great conceptual reflection of the work, simply to enjoy and meet again, in order to also be aware of what we are losing on the way of this great long-distance race that we call life.

artista multidisciplinal. Statement: From my own experience of attachment towards my possessions , I started Investigate about the links develop people with the objects around us , the need to retain and limits between possession and obsession. I am interested in mainly the limit between what is considered normal and diseased , reconsidering the parameters that define that things. From this personal experience , I was treating this issue in a more general way , focusing especially on everyday acts related to different forms and patterns of accumulation , from Conservation International as souvenirs to collectibles . I also interested in the spaces dedicated to the act of accumulating like The attics , storage rooms , cabinets, etc . The type of objects preserved there and how these objects behave in different spaces . The attachment, Accumulation , Vacuum Fear , Obsession and memory are key words in my work .
